Dr. Michael Yuan is the founder and core developer of WasmEdge. WasmEdge is a CNCF-hosted open source WebAssembly virtual machine, primarily used in edge computing, Service Mesh, and embedded functions. He has written 6 software engineering books and is a long-term open source contributor. Michael is also the co-founder of Second State, an open source infrastructure software startup dedicated to commercially and sustainably supporting enterprise applications in the WebAssembly and Rust ecosystems.
